I am extremely sorry for not updating my blog from ' 27th March'. But for my freaky accident, I wouldn't have given you any reason to complain. With a fractured legs and bandaged hands I hardly got to touch my PC, leave alone writing a review.
Still with one movable hand I am back to get rid of boredom (that had just stressed me further) and to try to get things back in place like they were before "My Highway to Hospital Bed".
I thank all of you who submitted your blogs during this time and I humble request you to please bear with me. I will gradually try to go through as many blogs as possible and review them. Lastly my Doc says I will be back to my feet within a month or two (well is he a doc or an astrologer ? Take your pick ).

My friend and I were recently talking about the prevalence of technology in our day to day lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that discussion we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory falls, the possibility of transferring our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I dream about almost every day.

I'm in a love/hate relationship with digital memory because of how prices are always dropping. I absolutely hate buying SD Cards for my R4 / R4i at (what seems to be) a cheap price only to see it become 10% cheaper a few months later.

Buying memory cards is such a chore... You have to Google prices, filter through which ones are legit, go out to a bunch of stores,compare prices, finally buy your memory, and then hope that the price doesn't drop in the next month or so.
I've been screwed over by crazy price changes in the past... especially this one time when I bought a Micro SD for my DS flashcard at what apparently was a bargain price, only to later see that it had dropped by five bucks in a week.

It's interesting to see just how pervasive virtual memory has become in our everyday lives. It seems like everywhere I turn, I see something with a card slot or USB port, lol. I guess it makes sense though, considering how much cheaper memory has become as of late...
Gahhhhh... who am I to complain. I can't get through a day without my R4 / R4i!

Because of various cultural, social, and religious reasons, a game that looks absolutely problem-free in one region can be criticized as the devil incarnate in another. That said, these facts raise an important questions: when does localization cross the line of censorship? Should gamers accept this?
As a recent example, let's see how Yakuza 3 on PS3 was adapted for the US territory. The game was heavily criticized by gamers who suspect the localizerd edited or removed significant game elements.
It was certainly a disappointment for gamers who expected to have the same game as the Japanese one after reading reviews and news in video game magazines or forums.
Now if you look at it, most gamers actually are adult and will absolutely not care to find certain elements. In fact, their absence may come as a huge disappointment for them and alter their gaming experience. So should developers think a little more about what public they are targetting, or just assume anyone may buy the game by accident, and thus edit it?.
Game translation is not censorship and should be adapted to players in a certain territory.
